We moved to Spain in 2003, leaving behind our busy city lives in London. With two little girls and a baby on the way, we dreamed of starting afresh in a place where our children could grow up surrounded by nature and we could enjoy a slower, more connected way of life.

That dream became reality when we discovered the Jalón Valley. At the top of a winding track, wide terraces filled with lush grass and wildflowers stretched out before us, framed by mountains and breathtaking views of the coast. It felt like home.
